ON THE NIGHT OF THE PERFORMANCE HE WILL WALK FROM HIS HOME TO PETRALONA STATION, GET ON THE GREEN LINE TO THISEIO AND WALK ON THE APOSTOLOU PAVLOU TO COME TO THE THEATRE.
Kleanthis grew up in Vlora, Albania, where he also finished a professional secondary agronomic school. Due to the limited numbers for new students accepted, he couldn't go to university : "So i went to do my military service for two years. Then the communist regime fell and i was one of the first who crossed the borders to come to Greece. I still remember the Greek journalists filming us".
At the beginning he worked in a hotel in Corfu for 1-2 years, then he came to Athens and found a job in a greenhouse for flowers.
"For the last twenty years I have been constantly working. I took over whatever job I could find, I never choose : at gas stations and street markets, as a cab driver".
He is married to his childhood love, a biochemist, who followed him to Greece, "because the financial and social situation in Albania was getting worse and worse".
Today they live in Petralona and have one daughter.
He used to read ancient drama, but not anymore. From the Aeschylus - play he identifies himself with Hephaistos : "Unfortunately we ran out of people who are like Prometheus. We are all Hephaistus now".
