Katerina is a set designer who has been working as teacher and now as a French teacher at the aviation school, for economic reasons as she points out. She is known for her bad temper. Apart from her work she is very good at cooking, and believes that cooking brings people closer to each other. One of her specialities is tagine.

She finds Antigone a very impressive text but she really likes Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey because they are two fantastic fairytales.
