Giorgos Douros has studied Law, has a Master at Social Politics and works as a researcher at the Hellenic Statistical Authority, since more than twenty years. His special interests are the social issues, like poverty and social discrimination. He has lived all his life in Athens. He likes Athens, more than any other place in Greece because it has a really large population, so one can easily find interesting people to communicate.
He would like to see more respect between Athenians, and some more interest in solving social problems. From the characters of Prometheus he feels himself closer to the god Hephaistos "because though my regressions against the state, I have a developing sense of duty. In the end, at a certain situation, I would do what ‘must’ be done" . Mr Douros speaks a bit of English and crossed three times this year the Greek borders for professional reasons.
