I fight with dignity
NAME: THANASSIS MARKOS
AGE: 29
PLACE OF RESIDENCE: AMBELOKIPI, ATHENS
BIRTHPLACE: ATHENS
ORIGIN: KALAMATA, PELOPONNISOS
ON THE NIGHT OF THE PREMIERE HE WILL DRIVE WITH HIS MOTORBIKE FROM AMBELOKIPI IN ALEXANDRAS AVENUE, THEN VASILISSIS SOFIAS AVENUE TILL SYNTAGMA SQUARE, THEN LEFT IN THE PHILELLINON STREET AND FINALLY RIGHT IN MAKRYGIANNI STREET, WHICH LEADS TO HERODEION.
29-year-old Thanassis Markos works as taxi driver, as his father also did. Because of his job, he developed a great sense of orienteering; he knows well the streets and neighborhoods of Athens and can easily find the shortest way. He begins working at 4 o' clock in the morning, sleeps usually four hours at night and sometimes two hours at the midday. "I am so busy all day, however, I am satisfied and optimist". At his free time he studies psychology at a private college, in order to work later as a therapist for addicted persons. He would specially like to work at the Street Work Groups, which approach addicted people in the night to help them.
From Prometheus Bound play, he feels himself closer to the Okeanides, because at some points, they express an optimism, that things can go better. He could have said
the sentence "Do not benefit mortals beyond reason and disregard your own distress; although, I am confident you will be freed from these bonds and will have power in no way inferior to Zeus". [506- 510]
