Arthouros lives alone in a basement apartment in Ilioupoli.
"When I was younger I admit that I was a difficult child. I hurt my mother's feelings, said things to her that I later regretted. A neighbor told me once ‘Arthouros, you are a good kid, but you have lost your way’ and that gave me a lot to think about. Sports helped me gaining discipline and ever since I try to be faithful to my principles and values".
When he was 16, he moved with his mother to Xanthi: "people who came that time from the ex-USSR were treated like ‘could be thieves’, so I had to try even more".
One year later he became Greece's young champion in judo.
He competed for several sports clubs, he moved to Athens in 2007, and he opened a judo school in Ilioupoli, but he quitted everything last year when he found a new fascinating object of interest: "After doing some commercials for television and being cast as an extra on several series, I wanted to give acting a try".
He's currently taking acting classes at a private drama school.
 
"We are reading ancient plays at drama school and Oedipus Rex is my favourite one. Therapon is my favourite character because I also believe that some things are better kept in the dark".
From the Prometheus Bound text he identifies himself with the homonymous character, "because he is persistent in his decision and defends his choices and actions".
