Prometheus in Athens

ORIGIN : HERAKLEION, CRETE

ON THE NIGHT OF THE PERFORMANCE HE WILL JOIN HIS GIRLFRIEND AND HER FAMILY TO COME TO THE HERODEION. THEY WILL TAKE THE BUS FROM THEIR HOMES (THE LIVE RELATIVELY CLOSE) TO THE SUBWAY STATION AGIOS ANTONIOS, GET ON THE RED LINE TO AKROPOLIS AND WALK THE REST OF THE ROAD.

 

Giorgos goes to school (10th grade at a Technical School) and his dream is to become a car mechanic one day : "Everything I know about cars I learned from my grandfather. I can modify cars, I can fix them, I can drive on only one wheel on my motorbike".

In school he read "Antigone" by Sophocles, but nothing else that is related to ancient drama ever since. He identifies himself with Prometheus, because he also wouldn’t give in to any kind of pressure/threats and would sacrifice himself for someone else.
