I’M GROWING UP STRANGELY
NAME: ACHILLEAS DIMITROPOULOS
AGE: 31
PLACE OF RESIDENCE: MELISSIA
BIRTHPLACE: ATHENS
ORIGIN: ALEXANDRIA, EGYPT AND CHIOS, CYPRUS
ON THE NIGHT OF THE PERFORMANCE HE WILL ARRIVE AT THE THEATRE BY TAKING THE METRO FROM “DOUKISSIS PLAKENTIAS” STATION TO “AKROPOLIS” METRO STATION AND THEN WALKING BY FOOT THROUGH DIONYSIOU AREOPAGITOU TO HERODEION.
Achilleas works as a software engineer. He feels special and different from other people only because of his genom. That means, he doesn’t believe that he has any other talent or gift, except for his juggling skills.
He enjoys reading Sophocles’ Oedipus Rex for the beautiful plot, and all those things the persons of the drama ignore, and Euripides’ Andromache, where he likes the role of Andromache.
[307-309] “Learn to know yourself and adapt yourself to new ways”, says Okeanos, and it seems that Achilleas follows this rule in his life as well. He identifies with Okeanos, because the god seems to be the voice of logic and reconciliation, which, most probably, do not fit (therefore fail) in such extreme circumstance.
