HURRYING SLOWLY
NAME: IOANNIS SASOPOULOS
AGE: 26
PLACE OF RESIDENCE: CENTRE OF ATHENS
BIRTHPLACE: ORESTIADA, EVROS
ORIGIN: ORESTIADA, EVROS
THE NIGHT OF THE PERFORMANCE HE WILL COME TO THE THEATRE WITH THE METRO FROM “PANORMOU”, CHANGE AT SYNTAGMA TO RED LINE TOWARDS “ACROPOLIS”, GET OFF AT THE METRO STATION THERE AND WALK TOWARDS HERODEION FROM DIONYSIOU AREOPAGITOU STREET.
Ioannis lives with this family (temporarily, as he pointed out) in the centre of Athens, opposite the Archaeological Museum, something he is very proud of. He is different from other people because he is always himself, in every aspect, either positive or negative.
He identifies himself with Hephaistos. “An agonizing cry of justice in an unjust and unfair world. Ultimately, a man who submits to the powers over him,” but his favourite character is Creon from Sophocles’ Antigone, as he is a man of blind power and emotional drama alike.
Oratory and the craft of conviction are his tricks, though sometimes he falters. They are especially useful in his profession, since he is working as a lawyer in a law firm specialising in finances.
