ON THE NIGHT OF THE PERFORMANCE SHE WILL DRIVE WITH HER TWO DAUGHTERS FROM HER HOUSE, ON THE MOUNTAINS BETWEEN FILOTHEI AND NEA FILADELPHIA, THROUGH PALAIO PSYCHIKO, TO PANORMOU STREET, THEN CONTINUE THROUGH TO ATHENS CONCERT HALL, BEFORE TURNING RIGHT TO VASILISSIS SOFIAS, CONTINUING TO VASSILEOS KONSTANTINOU AND SUNGROU AVENUE, THEN RIGHT TO CHATZICHRISTOU STREET. SHE WILL PARK THE CAR AROUND THE NEW ACROPOLIS MUSEUM AND SHE’LL WALK TO HERODEION.

Ioanna Portolou, a mother of two young girls, Photeini and Kalypso, is living in Northwest Athens. She is a a choreographer. Her last trip abroad, almost a year ago, was in Serbia, in Novi Sad. From that trip onwards she didn’t have much time to travel abroad.

Her grandparents come from Ionian Islands and Asia Minor, but she is a city girl. She is known for her sense of humor, though sometimes her manners are rough. However, in contrast with that, she’s able to change the mood of a person, if needed, because she can easily understand the feelings of the others.

She could identify with Io, because sometimes she feels like her, like having a phantom chasing her. Of course, for some people, this phantom could be transformed and take the shape of a real thing or circumstance; still, there are many people who have a phantom hunting them, but they do not know it yet.

However, she hasn’t read any ancient play, because she doesn’t feel close to these characters. There is a distance between them and the reality she lives in.
