Prometheus in Athens

ON THE NIGHT OF THE PERFORMANCE SHE WILL BE DRIVING HER CAR FROM HER HOME IN VYRONAS, ON THE STREETS ILIOUPOLEOS, FRATZI, ZINNI AND ZACHARITSA UNTIL SHE FINDS A PARKING SPACE IN THE HERODEION AREA.

 

Ioanna studied Economics at the Panteion University and Acting, but soon realised that the areas of finances and theatre ("the National Theatre in particular") treat people like numbers : "I’m attracted to Man, I wanna do a anthropocentric job, work for human nature and pain, and not for bliss".

Currently she is working at ΚΕΘΕΑ (Therapy Center For Dependent Individuals) and is doing her Master in Psychology. 
Ioanna is divorced and lives with her daughter Ioanna in a detached house with garden in Vyronas : "I try to find and teach my daughter the few things that express me in the current social situation".
 
Ioanna has read most of the ancient dramas and states "Agamemnon" as her favourite, because "it’s a hymn to love, through transcendent situations". Tecmessa from the Sophocles - play "Ajax" is her favourite character: "she companies him in his madness and seems to understand his wish to die".
 
She also read "Prometheus, bound" and identifies with Prometheus, because she believes "that justice is gonna come for all of us sooner or later".
