ON THE NIGHT OF THE PERFORMANCE PAVLOS LAOUTARIS WILL DRIVE ON POSIDONOS AVENUE REACH AYIOS DIMITRIOS METRO STATION AND TAKE THE TRAIN TO THE ACROPOLIS STATION. THEN HE WILL WALK ON DIONYSIOU AREOPAGITOU TO HERODION THEATRE.

 

Pavlos Laoutaris is 55 years old, and lives in Vouliagmeni in an apartment with a beautiful view to the sea.  He is divorced for the past years and has two children a boy 29 and a girl 21.  He is of Greek origin but considers himself a European Citizen “I once went to a conference in Germany and one asked me where I was from: ‘The Mediterranean’ I answered, ‘From Vouliagmeni,  a small village in Greece-a small part of Europe.”  He feels that one’s identity is found inside ones heart.  “It’s a great betrayal banning the old Greek writing system. That’s an example when one loses identity.” 

He works in O.A.E.D. the Manpower Employment Organization as the ministers’ consultant and at the same time teaches Project Management at the Public Management School. “I’m definitely open in learning every day.” A unique example: Pavlos studied and completed a Masters degree in E-Commerce/Marketing at the age of 45.

He is a great traveller.  One of his travelling destinations is Benin and Togo, 2 small countries in Africa where he offers aid with a group that deals with intercultural solidarity.  “We have completed 10.000 development projects there: Bungalows, a hospital, a library.”

“I do and I do not read ancient drama”. However, he feels close to Prometheus, because he is a real missionary “Ierapostolos” and truly criticizes authority.
